In recognition of your company's financial support and participation in the 1998 WCC, this sponsorship package includes the following:

MESSAGE CENTER:

A central location is dedicated at the congress facilities for easy access by all participants to receive and transmit messages. This center is staffed with personnel and communication equipment to receive, transmit, and distribute messages for those attending the congress. Hostesses will be wearing badges with your company logo which will also be prominently displayed on a panel. Should you so desire , the hostesses will be wearing uniforms to be provided by your organization. The message center will be located at the main entrance on the first floor of Convention Hall.

XIII WCC NEWSPAPER:

A 15,000 copy daily, full size, multi-page newspaper is distributed to all attendees of the congress four times a day. This paper, produced by a professional staff with your company as the exclusive sponsor, will contain the congress main information regarding the scientific program, social activities, interviews, reports and news of interest to the participants. Your company will be given an exclusive advertisement space on the footnote of every page of the newspaper. Every congress participant is viewing your corporate -message each day of the congress.

INTERNATIONAL CENTER / LOUNGE:

An area is centrally located for the congress attendees to relax, meet others, enjoy light refreshments, and make personal plans. Your company's sponsorship of this center is displayed for all to notice. The International Center/Lounge will be located at the second floor of Convention Hall.

EXHIBITION HALL:

335 total square meters consisting of 105 square meters ground floor with adjoining 230 square meters of overhead mezzanine space that is accessible from your ground floor exhibit. The mezzanine can be seen from all areas of the main floor exhibit hall. On the mezzanine you can have a hospitality suite, offices or any other activities suitable to your company.

SYMPOSIUMS:

Three symposiums are included:

1. Sunday, 04/26/98: 120 minutes, in a 700 seat auditorium
2. Monday, 04/27/98: 90 minutes, in a 2,578 seat auditorium
3. Tuesday, 04/28/98: 90 minutes in a 700 seat auditorium.

HOSPITALITY EVENT:

Rio de Janeiro is famous for its world class and unique attractions. The XIII WCC Committee is the exclusive and sole provider of these facilities/accommodations before, during, and after the XIII WCC. Your company sponsorship includes one reservation for a hospitality event of your choice. As example, group dining/ entertainment at Sugar Loaf, or a private group entertainment event at one of Rio's world famous samba nightclubs.

SHUTTLE BUS:

A private bus fleet is provided for the congress participants to transport them to and from the airport, hotels, the congress facilities, and other events throughout Rio de Janeiro. Included with your company sponsorship is a motor coach with your company's name and message prominently displayed on the side of the vehicle. Also the seats will have a cover with your company logo. Promotional videos could be played by the corporate.

During the XIII Congress of Cardiology 240 air-conditioned buses will be used to transport delegates.

The number of buses with your companys message will be 21 .

REGISTRATION FEES:

In recognition of your company's financial support of the XIII WCC, fifty physician level registration fees are reserved for your discretionary use , with no charges.

RECOGNITION OF THE FINANCIAL SUPPORT

In all auditoriums a panel with the names of sponsorship companies will prominently displayed.
